MeetingsAmerica is comprised of a number of individuals who collectively make up the best management team that we could possibly offer our clients. Each of us has special talents, gifts and skills that we contribute to the company to make it as successful as it is today. We realize that we are stronger by combining our talents, than we could be by operating individually. Often, your project will be the pie that each one of us has his fingers in. However, we always assign one person to be "the point" - the one who has primary contact with the client, makes decisions, is accountable to one another and the client, and is ultimately responsible for the success of your event.

Ralph Johnson - President and CEO
Ralph is one of our owners, and serves as President of MeetingsAmerica. Ralph was born in Southern California, and raised on the San Francisco peninsula. He has been in sales and marketing since his graduation from college in the late 70s. When his boys were younger, he served for many years on the National Ski Patrol - and fortunately for him and those who he treated, he never came across any major accidents that he couldn't handle. As a business owner, he insists on providing the best service for MeetingsAmerica's clients - and expects the same from our suppliers. He loves the industry and works tirelessly to make sure that MeetingsAmerica continues its fine tradition of serving the needs of our clients.

Diana Johnson - Vice President of Administration
Diana is also a transplant to Utah - having been born in Southern Alberta and raised in Red Deer, Alberta, Canada. She's our official Resident Alien and the better part of the package that comes with her husband, Ralph. Diana is responsible for the training, staffing and delegating at MeetingsAmerica. She is a creative genius - terrific at customer service and dedicated to making sure that we have the most responsive team working on your project.

Tia Uzelac - Director of Destination Sales
Tia comes to us with years of experience with the local Convention and Vistors Bureau. Her talent is in making the client comfortable with all components of the proposal. Her personality puts everyone at ease. Her attention to detail make the client confident in our company. And her knowledge and experience with the local vendors helps get our clients the best value for their program.

Jan Lambert - Director of Guide Services
Jan has been directing MeetingsAmerica's tours for over a decade. She knows all the places to go and see, and all the people that make your tour a success. Jan is constantly on the lookout for new things to add to our tours to make them more fun, educational and interesting. She has built great relationships with businesses and organizations that we associate with in the community.

Leslie Kesten - Office Manager
Leslie is the voice of MeetingsAmerica. It is likely her voice that you first hear when you call the office. Leslie is one of our guides who moved into the office, and we're glad she did. She is responsible for scheduling of buses, entertainment and keeping everyone else in the office on-track. Her good-humor and friendliness is an example of what makes MeetingsAmerica such a great place to work.

Glennis Hutchinson - Operations Assistant
Glennis was raised in central Utah, very close to Capitol Reef, Arches and Canyonlands National Parks, and Lake Powell National Recreation area. Like Leslie, she is one of our guides who "came inside" to help us with our day-to-day operations. She is directly responsible for many of our events and tours - and our clients love the service and dedication that she puts into the job.

Kathy Romney- Controller
Kathy is the heartbeat of the company. She's the one who controls the books, balances the checkbook, and makes sure all the bills are paid. Everybody likes Kathy, especially on pay day!

Bob Grove - DriveAway Vacations
Bob is our travel guru. You may have heard him on the KSL Travel Show, the KSL Outdoors Show, or read one of his travel articles in the "Sports Guide." He knows all the places to go in Utah as well as other destinations and when to go there. If you have a desire to offer incentive travel for your employees, or a company retreat, or if you just want a little getaway yourself, Bob has ideas for you.

Barbara
One of our most seasoned guides, Barbara's kindness and genuine love for guiding always comes shining through. Her volunteer work with University of Utah sororities and Salt Lake's Junior League attest to her concern for and love of this community

Connie B
Spunky and petite, Connie has been with MeetingsAmerica for more that 15 years. Music is an important part of her life as she is an accomplished pianist and loves to sing. Connie has lived in Salt Lake all her life.

Connie C
Connie's enthusiasm for life is contagious. She loves Utah and lives to share its unique culture and history with our clients. She always has a story to tell and is full of energy. Connie and her husband spend time helping at a youth detention center in Salt Lake.

JaNae
JaNae is an outdoor and horse enthusiast, with a vast knowledge of trails, canyons and trivia about the Intermountain West. She is another marathon runner, and avid outdoors person. She has traveled the word with her husband, Ted, also a MeetingsAmerica guide.

Karen
Karen has a special interest and love for Salt Lake's inner city, as she lives downtown. In her spare time, she volunteers as a State Capital Guide and helps with productions at a nearby theater.

Lary Anne
With a special interest and love for youth, Lary Ann has spent many volunteer hours with the Boy Scouts of America and other youth programs. In addition, she's great at "dutch oven cooking" and loves to camp.

Marcia
Marcia is a native of the San Francisco Bay Area, but she's lived in the Salt Lake Valley for several years and she is a student of it's history and of all the fun places to go and visit.

Melinda
Melinda works as a school teacher, but she fills her summers by making people happy on their MeetingsAmerica tours. Melinda loves her job, and by the end of your tour you'll love Melinda.

Melissa
Melissa is a recent graduate of the University of Utah. She participates regularly in local theatre and is a vocal instructor.

Patty
Patty is fluent in French and served as a French-speaking guide during the Salt Lake Olympics. She is a computer programmer, who moonlights as a MeetingsAmerica tour guide in the evenings and on weekends. She is probably the friendliest and nicest person in the state of Utah!

Ted
Ted has spent nearly 30 years in the travel industry. He's been all over the globe (six continents) as a tour guide, and always comes back to his favorite state: Utah. There's no one in Utah who gets more excited about touring the southern part of the state than Ted. One of the reasons is that he seems to know everything about it, and everyone who lives there!

Wendy
Wendy loves people and loves to share Salt Lake and the area with our guests. She volunteered for many years as a guide at the Beehive House, the historic home of Brigham Young. She has a great knowledge of the history of the area. When a project needs special attention - we often call on Wendy because she knows how to get things done.

Office Staff
Everyone of the office staff loves the chance to work with our clients and lead tours of Salt Lake and the surrounding area. Our long-term clients will often call and ask that Jan, Leslie or Glennis lead their step-on tours. Generally, it is the office staff that takes you, our clients, on site and venue visits of the territory. We're the ones who give you the first look at the beauties and opportunities that are only available in Salt Lake City and the Intermountain West.
