We have been promoting and arranging travel to these amazing and scenic western destinations since 1978. The idea of drive vacations was conceived after years of studying travel trends monitoring America’s growing passion for road trips and quick getaways. As a result, we found that nearly 80 percent of all leisure travel is taken by automobile to places close to home. In 2002 DriveAway Vacations merged with MeetingsAmerica creating a more comprehensive tour, travel and leisure division serving local travelers and inbound visitors to the Intermountain west.
